Getro (pop, rock)

Getro was the alias of singer Dominic Lacaille who had initially been a member of Les Copains before forming a successful duo with fellow bandmate Christian Paquet known as Christian et Gétro. By 1969 the duo had run its course and Lacaille honoured the remainder of the group’s recording contract by issuing three singles as Gétro along with a full-length album entitled ‘Chiwawas’ featuring Getro solo tracks and all of Christian et Getros’ early singles.
