The Wheat Pool (alt-country, rock)

The Wheat Pool is a dark country rock band formed in 2004 in Edmonton. The band is on Shameless Records Canada. Following a seven-year stretch that included a handful of releases and several tour jags, Edmontonian alt-country act the Wheat Pool have run their course and pulled the plug in 2012.  The band played their last show in their hometown on March 23 at the Pawn Shop. Interestingly, the farewell performance marked the seventh anniversary of the group's very first show.
